Terrence Mann is the Carolyn Plemmons Phillips and Ben R. Phillips Distinguished Professor in Musical Theatre at Western Carolina University. Mann originated the role of the Beast in the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast also earned Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle nominations for best actor for his performance as the Beast.

Highlighting Mann's stage credits are roles he originated on Broadway–Rum Tum Tugger in Cats, his Tony Award-nominated performance as Inspector Javert in Les Miserables, and his portrayal of Chauvelin in The Scarlett Pimpernel. He also has taken the Broadway stage in Lennon, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Getting Away With Murder, A Christmas Carol, Rags, Barnum, Jerome Robbins' Broadway, and Jekyll and Hyde.
Mann's film credits include Critters, A Chorus Line, Big Top Pee Wee, Solar Babies, and he has appeared on television on Law and Order, Love Monkey, Mrs. Santa Claus, American Revolution and All My Children. He earned an Emmy Award nomination for his performance on the CBS show As the World Turns. He can currently be seen in the Sci-Fi Channel’s original series The Dresden Files.

Director and composer for the musical adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, Mann is founding artistic director of the Carolina Arts Festival and served as artistic director of the North Carolina Theatre for 10 years, directing more than 25 musical productions during his tenure. He also was artistic director of The Lost Colony, North Carolina 's long-running outdoor drama.

Actor, singer and dancer Charlotte d’Amboise is currently starring as Roxie Hart in the Broadway smash Chicago, and recently starred as Cassie in the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of A Chorus Line . Born in New York, Ms d'Amboise made her Broadway debut in Cats in 1983.

Ms d’Amboise’s extensive Broadway credits include her Tony nominated performance in Jerome Robbins’ Broadway, Lola in Damn Yankees, the wife in Susan Stroman’s critically acclaimed Contact, and Kathy in the Roundabouts revival of Company. The original Broadway productions of Carrie, Sing and Dance, and Claudine in the City Center’s encore presentation of Can-Can among her other Broadway credits.

In the spring of 2005, Ms d'Amboise replaced an injured Christina Applegate in the pre-Broadway and Broadway revival of Sweet Charity. Once Applegate returned, d'Amboise remained as her standby while simultaneously performing the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago.

She has received the Astaire award for achievement in dance for her performance in Damn Yankees, Sweet Charity, and Chicago, the Bay Area Theatre Circle Award for Chicago, the L.A. Ovation award for leading actress in a musical for Chicago, the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circles Award for leading performance in Chicago, and the Astaire award for Chicago and Sweet Charity.

D'Amboise's film credits include The In Crowd; American Blue Note; Just Off The Coast; and The Preacher’s Wife. On television she has appeared in the Kennedy Center Honors, Law and Order, a videotaped performance of the Broadway musical Contact, and made-for-TV movies.

Born into a family of dancers, Christopher d’Amboise has had many careers: dancer, director, choreographer, playwright, teacher and educator. His work explores the integration of text, dance, and music, and seeks to reinforce a positive perspective of humanity.

As a principal dancer with New York City Ballet, Christopher worked closely with both George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins, originating works as well as performing major repertoire. On Broadway he co-starred with Bernadette Peters in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Song and Dance, for which he earned a Tony nomination.
As a choreographer, Christopher works both in theater and ballet. He has created over 80 works seen worldwide in cities including London, Prague, Paris, Copenhagen, New York, Lisbon, and Istanbul. His ballets have been presented in over 30 companies including the New York City Ballet, Royal Ballet of Flanders, Pennsylvania Ballet, National Ballet of Amsterdam, and the San Francisco Ballet. His latest work, Tribute, premiered with NYC Ballet at Lincoln Center in 2007.

As a director or choreographer for theater, Christopher’s vision is cinematic in style integrating music, dance with text, and visual storytelling. His credits include: The Studio, You Never Know, High Society, Romeo & Juliet: The Musical, The Road to Find Out, Up the Avenue, and Voice of the City.

For more than 25 years, Joan Lader has had one of New York's busiest private practices as a voice teacher and therapist specializing in professional voice. Her clients include some of the world's leading performers from Broadway, pop, opera and rock. Professional affiliations include New York State Speech Language Hearing Association (NYSSLHA), National Association of Singing Teachers (NATS), and The Voice Foundation.
Joan received certification from New York Singing Teachers' Association's

(NYSTA) professional development program, having completed its “Core of Knowledge” curriculum. Ms. Lader has a B.S. in Music and Theater from Pennsylvania State University, and a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Hunter College.

Kelly Crandall has been dancing since she was 3. Trained at the School of American Ballet, she has appeared on Broadway, film and television. An original cast member of The Boy From Oz, she had the great pleasure of working with Hugh Jackman. Other Broadway credits include Chicago, Susan Stroman’s A Christmas Carol and the national tour of The Producers. Broadway workshops include Dirty Dancing and Last Dance. She has also performed with the NYC Opera in The Most Happy Fella and the Los Angeles Opera in Samson and Delilah starring Placido Domingo. Her film credits include recently wrapping production of A Christmas Carol starring Jim Carrey and directed by Robert Zemeckis. She can also be seen in What Women Want with Mel Gibson and Beautiful directed by Sally Field. She was one of the 8 Deadly Sin Dancers on the variety tv show, Penn & Teller’s Sin City Spectacular. She has performed on the Academy Awards, the Tony Awards, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. In addition, she has been the Associate Choreographer on numerous productions including, Babes in Toyland at Lincoln Center, Hot ‘n Cole at the Westport County Playhouse, directed by James Naughton, The Studio at South Coast Rep. and Signature Theatre, directed by Christopher d’Amboise, and was the Resident Director of Cheer, a pre-Broadway workshop. Kelly is a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Mr. Bradley Martin began working at Western Carolina University in fall 2002. He serves as coach accompanist/music director for the Musical Theatre Program.

Mr. Martin earned his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Western Australia. He completed a Master of Music in Accompanying and Chamber Music from the University of Michigan and spent four years doing post-graduate work at the Moscow Conservatory of Music. He is currently completing a Doctorate in Piano Performance at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Mr. Martin has been on the faculty of several colleges and universities including Oklahoma City University, Anglo-American School of Moscow, and the Western Australian Conservatory of Music. He has been a repetiteur, coach, and conductor for University of Colorado, Oklahoma Ballet Company, University of Michigan, Sydney Conservatory of Music, Australian Opera and Ballet, Sydney Dance Company, and Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts.

As a solo pianist, chamber musician and accompanist he has appeared in recitals in the United States, Russia, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Highlights of his performing career include performances with the Pacific Music Festival in Japan, Western Australian Symphony Orchestra, Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, at the Kusciuzko Foundation in New York, Bolshoi Theater in Russia and an Australian Tour in 1993. Mr. Martin has made recordings for television and radio, having appeared on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and 2MBS FM, Sydney Australia.

Claire Eye teaches Acting II, Voice and Articulation, Dialects, and the new Acting Conservatory course at Western and is a Western Carolina Mainstage director. After earning her undergraduate degree from Western, she completed her master's degree in the Professional Actor Training Program at Louisiana State University. While there, she became a founding member of Swine Palace, Louisiana's first Equity Theatre.

Eye has performed in off-Broadway shows in New York, including Measure for Measure, and has appeared in productions in coastal North Carolina. Her television and film credits include The Wedding and Paradise Falls.

Dave Clemmons is the founder/owner of Dave Clemmons Casting which has cast Broadway shows including Ring of Fire, In My Life, The Boy From Oz, Dracula, The Civil War, Brooklyn, Cinderella starring Eartha Kitt and Jamie Lynn Sigler; Off-Broadway shows including Bare, Bat Boy, Altar Boyz, The Ark, Bingo, Cpt. Louie, Zanna Don't!, the 2000 revival of Godspell and the National Tours of Cinderella, Evita, Millie, Cats, Fosse, Jekyll & Hyde, Chicago, Joseph and Saturday Night Fever, and Moving Out.

He began his career as a performer in Broadway roles in Les Miserables (Valjean), The Civil War, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Jekyll and Hyde and Whistle Down the Wind.

As a music/vocal director or supervisor Dave has worked on the National Tours of Jekyll and Hyde and The Civil War.

He served as Producer for the critically acclaimed New York production of Bat Boy and an Intimate Evening with Frank Wildhorn and friends starring Frank Wildhorn. Linda Eder and Douglas Sills.

He has conducted the Broadway Gospel Choir and the Dave Clemmons Choir on The Today Show, the Bravo Network, Carnegie Hall and the Gershwin Theatre on Broadway.

Each year, Dave lectures and teaches at the nation's top music theatre training programs including Broadway Theatre Project.
