Our vocal lessons promote healthy singing techniques grounded in proper vocal placement and projection for various styles of singing. Each student is given a personal assessment of what they need to work on and how to be confident in their presentation.

 

Students learn how to interpret the text of a song, finding an emotional through-line and unveiling the intent of the words.

In Audition Techniques class, we discover the subtle art of walking into an audition room, preparing the right song, dressing the part and approaching the accompanist. All aspects of what to do (and what not to do) in these situations are experienced throughout a set of mock auditions.
